We wish you a blessed month of Rabi’ ul-Awwal anno 1437, that has arrived some days ago with the mercy of Allah, al-hamduliLlah!

This is the third month of the islamic hijri calender, which is among the most superior month of the entire year, even more superior than the month of Ramadan. While Ramadan is the month where the holy Qur’an was revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallaLlahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, Rabi ‘ ul-Awwal is the blessed month Allah chose to send His Habib sallaLlahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, the guide of humanity, the last Prophet who guided us, cleaned our hearts from destruction, and tought us the verses of the Holy Qur’an.

If not the Beloved of Allah, our Master Muhammad salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, had graced the earth, we would not be able to learn about the Merciful Lord and the purification of our hearts which happens through the remembrance of Allah and His Messenger salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam and by following the Sunnah of the Prophet. All the blessings we recieve are due to the mercy of Allah, and the greatest blessings of all, arrived in this very month, Rabi’ ul-Awwal. So why should we not be grateful towards Allah for His mercy upon us?

Allah Almighty states in the Qur’an in praise of His Beloved, that He Himself created without any flaws, and with perfection in every way:

wamaarsalnaka
And We have sent you (O beloved) not but as a mercy for the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
Surah (Chapter) al-Anbiyya (The Prophets) The Qur’an 21:107

055_049

“Then which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?Surah (Chapter) Rahman (the Mercy), the Qur’an 55:47

A poet said very beautifully:

“Imaan mila Un ke sadqe
Quraan mila Un ke sadqe

Rahmaan mila Un ke sadqe
Wo kya hain jo hum ne paaya nahi”

“By his (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) means we have achieved iman,
By his means we have recieved the Qur’an)

By his means we have connected to The Most Merciful (al-Rahman)
What is it that we have not gained through his means?” (From the naat “Qurban main Unki bakhshish ke”)

The Messenger of Allah, our Master Muhammad salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam is the greatest favor of Allah upon the creation! His plans are the Best, and look dear sister and brother, if it wasn’t for the mercy of Allah we wouldn’t have iman, and we wouldn’t be an ummati of the Prophet! Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him!

Rabi’ ul-Awwal Mubarak from the staff of Naatepaak.com – PS: don’t forget to check out the lyrics with the tag “Milad”! Stay tuned with new lyrics 4 times every week!
